The question asked by Alex Pretti out of kindness -- and the question asked by some to challenge others with -- takes the shape of the "simple" question: "Are you okay?" *** NOTE: A portion of the proceeds of every sale of this poem will be hand-delivered to one or more people on the floor/unit Alex Pretti worked on, in his name and Renee Good's. The fundraiser for Ms. Good's widow has directed people to give elsewhere, I come from a family with several nurses, and a few who have served in uniform. Every time I hand-deliver a portion of the sales, I WILL document it on my blog for transparency and general morale. I will not be deducting that portion from my taxes because I'M CERTAIN someone truly needs the tax dollars I'm paying that a few who shall remain nameless aren't.Ready-to-hang: Includes hanging kit, ready to hang directly on the wall.
